That was a lot of info, but it made me really excited. I just have one question for you Lori since you ran it last year. I noticed that it said that runners should carry a cell phone list just in case they get lost. How likely is it that a runner could get lost? Are the courses marked well?
ReplyDeletelast year we didn't lose a runner but hey, you never know! :) that's why we're bringing the 2 way radios for each van. half the time we won't have cell phone reception so if you want you can run with the 2 ways to communicate with the van.
ReplyDeleteusually you're toggling so close with the runner (every .5-2 miles) that generally you don't lose them. and NO the courses are not really marked super well. just depends on the town and who is in charge. unfortunately.
Ok. So I just confirmed with all of our volunteers. I have 3 and they are all good to go and planning on it. I told them that I would get them the information of where they were supposed to go this week. Where do I get that information from?
